Our events over the past several years have ranged from the traditional to the contemporary.

JALBCA organizes and sponsors community-wide breast cancer awareness and fundraising events.

The 2019 Awards Presentation Dinner was a great success. JALBCA’s Honorary President, Chief Judge Janet DiFiore, presented our Leadership Achievement Award to the Justices of the Appellate Division, First Judicial Department, and we presented the Maite Aquino Memorial Grant award to the AIG Global Legal, Compliance & Regulatory Department.

Thanks to our generous sponsors and other donors, funds raised through the dinner will support our vital programs, including The Judith S. Kaye Project and The Maite Aquino Program at The Family Center, which provide free legal assistance to families in crisis due to a breast cancer diagnosis, helping them with housing, insurance and employment issues and, where necessary, end-of-life planning.
